Welcome all you “Leading Edge Creators!” I’m Bonnie Skane and I am a Wellness and Personal Empowerment Coach and an avid student of the Abraham-Hicks materials. I was so excited when they announced their new meditation and guide book “Getting Into the Vortex” that I ordered it right away. I have been doing the meditation daily for the last 12 days and I think it’s AMAZING! So amazing, I thought it might be fun to count down to the New Year, with a group of like minded individuals and share a common but personally unique, co-creative experience.
So here is what I propose for any of you that want to join in and follow along. The “Nothing is More Important than I Feel Good” Challenge. For a lot of us the Holiday Season is a busy, crazy and stressful time of the year. What if this year we set our intention every day that “nothing is more important than I feel good!”
What if this year we intend to be a “seeker of positive aspects” and look for and focus on the best of each person, place and situation we are experiencing or thinking about.
What if this year we focus on and appreciate all the things that are going right, instead of the things that are going wrong.
Now I’m not talking about spending a lot of time doing a bunch of exercises Most of what I am talking about is just being more aware of what you are thinking and choosing better feeling thoughts. This is what I suggest we do each day.
1. When you wake up in the morning, spend a moment or two appreciating the comfort of your bed.
2. Next, set your intention for the day by saying: Today is going to be a great day! Today where ever I go, whatever I’m doing, who ever I am with and whatever I am thinking, “nothing is more important than I feel good”, so I will focus on the positive aspects of everything.
3. Do a “Getting Into the Vortex” meditation. Read the quote for the day in the guide book.
4. Remind yourself throughout the day that “Nothing is more important than I feel good” and “I am a seeker of positive aspects”
5. Pay attention to your emotions. Remember, your emotions are your guidance telling you if what you are focusing on in the moment is in alignment with your source or not. Negative emotion = my source does not agree with whatever I am thinking in the moment. Positive emotion = my source does agree with whatever I am thinking in the moment.
6. Ask yourself WDSS (What Does Source See) whenever you catch yourself on a negative track.
7. When you get in bed at night appreciate the things that went right and were pleasing to you during the day.
8. Most of all – lighten up, be more playful and enjoy each day!
Life is a creative adventure - just have fun with all of this! Bonnie
